Meet the Board

Hi everyone! I am Emma Wieringa and I am the chairman of our beautiful association this academic year. I am 23 years old and come from Heeze, a village near Eindhoven. I have been studying econometrics for two years now, one year for the premaster and one year of BAOR. Before econometrics, I finished the Bachelor Online Culture in Tilburg, which was a lot of fun. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, read romcoms, and go to the gym. I am really excited to be the chair this year and hope to see you all a lot!

Hey, I am Jeroen van der Wielen and I am the Vice-Chairman of Asset | Econometrics for the year 2024. Currently, I am halfway through my bachelor's degree and I started studying in Tilburg in 2022. I was born in Duiven on February 21, 2004. In my spare time, I like to have a drink with friends and to play games. This year I have, or had, the honor to coordinate the Freshmen Night, Active Members Weekend, Active Members Day, Yearbook, Promotion, Education, and the Consultancy Committee! Hi, I am Rebecca Beijk, and I am 22 years old. I grew up in Sint-Michielsgestel, a village near ‘s-Hertogenbosch, and I have been living in Tilburg since three years ago. Currently, I am in the third year of my bachelor’s, but after this board year, I will still have a few more years to come… For the upcoming year, I am really excited to coordinate the AMW, EfS, Nekst, and KOALA committees. Besides my study and board duties, I play football at Merlijn, and I also like windsurfing, reading, and chilling by myself or with friends. I really look forward to the upcoming year, and to seeing everyone at one of our events or at the rooms! Houdoe!

Hi everyone, I am Guus, I am 21 years old and I am the Treasurer of Asset | Econometrics. I am currently in my fourth year of my bachelor’s, and have been active at the association for just as long. I am excited to coordinate various committees this year, including the D&A, Europe trip, IBT 2024, IBT 2025 and the Qig. Besides my duties at the association, I like enjoying drinks with friends and roommates, playing video games, going to the gym and a nice pub quiz. I look forward to making the most of this year and seeing you at events or at the rooms!

Hey everyone! My name is Rein, I’m 21 years old, and I am the External Affairs Officer of Asset | Econometrics alongside Dylan. My journey with this association has been incredible, starting from the moment I became an active member. Over the years, I’ve participated in several committees, including the Freshmen and Promotion committees. The highlight for me was the Lustrum Committee, where I had the privilege of organizing a week of amazing events to celebrate the 45th anniversary of our wonderful association.

In addition to my involvement with Astrics, I’m passionate about sports, enjoying activities like running, fitness, hockey, and football. I also love socializing with friends, whether it’s having drinks here in Tilburg or back in my hometown of Eindhoven. When I have some spare time I also like to relax by watching movies.

Hola! I am Dylan Koenders and I am one of the Externals for this year. I am originally from Duiven a small village near Arnhem. I have been studying econometrics for 2 years now and have been active from the start. During these 2 years, I was in committees such as Fresmen and Drinks & Activities. This year I will coordinate the following committees: EOR Business Dinner, Freshmen Night, Finance Expedition, Econometrics Consultancy Tour, and Connection Day.

Besides the board year, I enjoy spending time and having some drinks with friends. I really look forward to this year and hope to see you at our activities!
