The National Econometricians Day (LED) is the largest annual career event for students in the fields of econometrics, operations research, data science, and actuarial sciences in the Netherlands. On this day, more than 600 students get the opportunity to explore their future careers and connect with potential future employers.
Who can participate?
The LED is intended for all students in the fields of econometrics, operations research, data science, and actuarial sciences in the Netherlands, in their third year or higher. To participate in the LED, you must be a member of one of the six student associations for Econometrics and Operations Research in the Netherlands. If you are not yet a member, you can contact the student association of your university for more information.
To ensure that the LED is accessible to international students, many companies offer their cases in English. Additionally, to keep the LED open to all students, no CV selection is applied.
Organization
The LED is an event organized by the Landelijke Orgaan der Econometrische Studieverenigingen (LOES). LOES consists of the six econometrics student associations in the Netherlands: Asset | Econometrics (Tilburg University), FAECTOR (Erasmus University Rotterdam), Kraket (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Vectum (Maastricht University), VESTING (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), and VSAE (Universiteit van Amsterdam). Each year, the LED is organized by members of one of these six student associations. The LED 2024 will be organized by FEACTOR | Erasmus University Rotterdam.
