The Quantitative Investment Group (QIG) is an initiative of Asset | Econometrics, designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn investment techniques using quantitative models. The group consists of 15 students who have a strong interest in Quantitative Finance and are selected through a competitive application process. Members trade with funds from the association, and they also contribute their own personal capital to the investments. This hands-on experience allows students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world financial markets and develop practical skills in investment and asset management. There are some possibilities to get into contact with this group:
Quantitative Investment Group
QIG Masterclass
During this masterclass, students from the Quantitative Investment Group (QIG) will receive a masterclass from your company. The evening will conclude with a networking drink, which is the ideal opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with these highly motivated students.
QIG Inhouse Day
A QIG Inhouse Day is designed to familiarize students from the QIG with your company's operations. Students from and interested in the QIG will visit your company to follow a program that you determine. This usually includes a company presentation followed by a case study. After the case study, there will be an opportunity to conclude with an informal activity, such as a networking drink.
