Below you will find a list of frequently asked questions that might be useful. Please consult this list before contacting the secretary, your answer might be in the list.

If we think it is relevant, we might publish your question on this page. If for any reason you do not feel comfortable with us posting your question to the FAQ board, then please let us know in your email to avoid any miscommunications.

What is the difference between FAM and OAL?

They are the same thing!

FAM stands for Former Active Members, whereas OAL stands for Oud Actief Leden. So, OAL is the Dutch translation for FAM and may be used instead of FAM.

Since Asset | Econometrics is an English association, we refer to FAM on this website.

What is the difference between FAM and KOALA?

FAM is the association, whereas KOALA refers to the activities that are paired with the FAM. KOALA also refers to the committee that organizes the KOALA activities.

How do I select in what way I want to receive the Nekst?

You can select this when making your account.

What is AFAM?

AFAM stands for Aspirant Former Active Member. The difference between FAM and AFAM is that AFAM is still a member of Asset Tilburg, and still pays the contribution of Asset Tilburg.

Can you join the FAM whilst your still studying?

No, that is what AFAM is for.

How much does it cost to join the FAM?

It costs €10,- annually which will be paid via Incasso. You will receive an email with the deregistration deadline.
